The Alliance anticipates this first round of relief will distribute $5-10 million. The OKC Rescue Program will distribute approximately $20 million in total relief funds. Second, facade and storefront improvement funds will reimburse minority-owned businesses and those in the Qualified Census Tract up to $25,000 in expenses for general outdoor building repairs like windows, paint or signage. Small businesses and nonprofits may apply and this is the only relief program that nonprofits are eligible for. First, technical assistance provides services such as marketing, new websites, HR, financial, business planning and engineering and architectural services. The program offers three types of support. To qualify, the business or nonprofit must be located in Oklahoma City and employ 100 or fewer full time equivalent employees. The program covers business services like marketing, accounting, or business planning outdoor facade improvements or COVID-19 mitigation expenses like ventilation and outdoor seating. Oklahoma City business owners and non-profits with 100 or fewer full-time employees can apply for financial support from the OKC Rescue Program to help recover from the impacts of COVID 19.
